The Kross Evado 3.0 is a hybrid on Kross's aluminium Lite frame - here in the 21" size, glossy orange/black - pairing a 16-speed Shimano drivetrain with mechanical disc brakes and an SR Suntour suspension fork.
The SR Suntour NEX fork gives 63 mm of travel for rough town surfaces and light trails. The 16 gears are handled by a Shimano Tourney front derailleur and Shimano Acera M3020 rear derailleur, shifted from Shimano Altus M315 levers. The Shimano TY501 crankset runs 30-46T rings on 175 mm arms into a Shimano HG41 11-34T cassette via a YBN S8 chain, on a Shimano UN101 bottom bracket.
Mechanical disc brakes front and rear act on 160 mm rotors through aluminium levers - consistent stopping in the wet, and pads and cables that any workshop can service quickly. Wheels are aluminium hubs on aluminium rims with Wanda G5001 28×1.75 tyres.
The cockpit is a 640 mm/31.8 aluminium handlebar on a 105 mm/31.8/7° aluminium stem with Hermans OXY grips and a 1-1/8" headset. A Kross saddle sits on a suspension seatpost (31.6×350 mm) to soften the ride further, and the pedals are plastic composite with steel. Complete weight is 15.8 kg.
