The Kross Evado 4.0 is a men's hybrid and city bike on a 19" Aluminium Lite frame in black and silver, running a 16-speed Shimano drivetrain with hydraulic disc brakes - a solid step up in braking and gear range from entry-level city bikes, at a quoted 15.5 kg.
Gearing is 2 × 8: a Shimano TY501 crankset (30-46T, 170 mm cranks) into a wide-range Shimano HG400 11-40T cassette, with a Shimano Tourney front derailleur, Shimano Acera M3020 rear derailleur and ST-EF515 shifter units that also carry the brake levers. The bottom bracket is an FP-B902 and the chain an S8.
Braking is Shimano MT200 hydraulic discs front and rear on 160 mm rotors. Suspension comes from an SR Suntour NEX fork with 63 mm of travel, and comfort at the back is handled by an Absorbed 31.6 × 350 mm seatpost under a Kross saddle.
Wheels are aluminium hubs on aluminium rims with Wanda G5001 28 × 1.75 tyres. The cockpit is a 640 mm aluminium bar (31.8 clamp) on a 90 mm, 7° aluminium stem with a 1-1/8" headset and Hermans Oxy grips; pedals are plastic composite with steel.
