Kross Hexagon JR 1.0 24" Kids Mountain Bike
The Kross Hexagon JR 1.0 is a boys' 24 in wheel bike from the 2022 collection, with an aluminium frame, a 50 mm travel suspension fork and eight Shimano gears, here in size M and a gloss blue/orange finish.
The frame is Kross's Aluminium Performance, painted gloss, and it is paired with a Kross-branded fork offering 50 mm of travel to take the sting out of rough paths. Steering runs on an FP-H801S 1-1/8" headset, with a 75 mm aluminium stem and a 560 mm steel handlebar fitted with Herrmans grips.
The drivetrain is a single-chainring eight-speed set-up. A Wheel Top chainset carries a 32T ring (listed as 32T/152 mm), turning on an FP-B902 bottom bracket and driving a YBN S8 chain to an FW-8I 13-28T freewheel at the back. Shifting is by a Shimano Altus M315 shifter and a Shimano Tourney TX800 rear derailleur. Braking is V-brake front and rear, pulled by Alhonga levers, which keeps pads and cables cheap and simple to service.
Wheels are built on Kross rims with a GL-B01F-QR front hub and a GL-B01R-QR rear hub, shod with 24 × 1.95 tyres. The saddle is a Kross item on an SP-200 seatpost measuring 27.2 × 300 mm. The supplier lists the bike as a boys' model.
