The Kross Mini 3.0 is a 16-inch wheel single-speed children's bike in glossy white/coral - a girls' model with a steel frame, rigid steel fork and the simple coaster-brake drivetrain that suits first proper bikes.
The drivetrain is deliberately simple: one gear, a steel 28T crankset on a 102 mm FP-B902 bottom bracket, and a KMC HV410 chain, with no derailleurs or shifters to set up or knock out of adjustment. The derailleur hanger is integrated into the frame. Braking pairs a front V-brake on Kross levers with a torpedo (back-pedal) rear hub, so the child always has a brake underfoot even before hand strength develops.
The wheels run aluminium rims on a steel front hub and the torpedo rear hub, shod with Wanda P1023 16 × 1.95 tyres. The cockpit is steel throughout - a 460 mm bar on a 25.4 mm clamp, a 60 mm steel stem at 25° with a 25.4 mm interface, and a 1" headset - finished with Propalm Pro grips. Seating is a Selle Royal Explora Jr saddle on a 25.4 × 230 mm steel seatpost, and the pedals are plastic composite. Complete weight is 10.7 kg.
