Kross Trans 1.0 Gents Trekking Bike
The Kross Trans 1.0 is a gent's hybrid and city bike, here with a 21" frame in navy blue and silver with a gloss finish. It rolls on 28-inch wheels, runs a 21-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain with V-brakes, and comes equipped with mudguards, a luggage rack, a kickstand and battery-powered front and rear lights.
The frame is aluminium, listed by the maker as Aluminium Performance, and it is paired with a Zoom 120E suspension fork giving 30 mm of front travel. The headset is 1-1/8". The listed weight for the model is 15.8 kg.
Gearing comes from a Wheel Top triple chainset with 28/38/48T rings and 170 mm cranks, turning on an FP-B902 bottom bracket and shifted by a Shimano Tourney TY601 front derailleur. At the back a Sunrun FW-7SI freewheel with a 14-28T range is worked by a Shimano Tourney TY300 rear derailleur, and a YBN S50 chain links the two. Shifting is through Shimano Tourney ST-EF41 units, which are also listed as the brake levers.
Braking is by V-brakes front and rear; there are no disc rotors on this model. The wheels are built on aluminium hubs and aluminium rims and are fitted with Wanda P1134 tyres in 28 × 1.65.
At the contact points the bike has a steel handlebar (610/25.4) on an aluminium stem (90/25.4 REG), Kross grips, a Kross saddle on a 27.2 × 350 mm aluminium seatpost, and plastic composite pedals.
The equipment list covers Tubus plastic 28" mudguards, a Buchel rack rated at 25 kg, an Ursus central kickstand, a Buchel Wave battery front light and a Buchel Tivoli battery rear light.
