The Kross Vento 2.0 is an entry-level road bike on an Aluminium Lite frame with an aluminium/carbon fork and a 16-speed Shimano Claris R2000 drivetrain - this listing is the XS (19") size.
The Claris R2000 group is carried right through: shifters, brake levers, front and rear derailleurs and crankset are all R2000, with a 50-34T compact chainset on 170 mm cranks, a Shimano BSA BB-RS500 bottom bracket, a Claris HG50 11-28T cassette and a Shimano HG40 chain.
Braking is by U-brake with Tektro R315 calipers front and rear, operated from the Claris levers. The wheels pair Shimano Sora RS300 hubs with Alexrims ATD490 700C × 17 rims on standard steel spokes with brass nipples, shod with Wanda W3111 700 × 25C tyres.
Finishing kit is aluminium throughout: a 400 mm, 31.8 mm handlebar on a 90 mm, 31.8 mm, 7° stem with an FSA No.42/ACB 1-1/8" headset, a 27.2 × 350 mm seatpost in a standard Kross clamp under a Selle Royal 2043HRN saddle, and Kross EVA bar tape/grips. No pedals are fitted, so plan to supply a set at the point of sale.
