The Gravel Hutchinson Caracal reinforcement Hardskin tyre

Hutchinson expanded its range of Gravel tyres with the Gravel Caracal tyre. Designed to be the fastest tyre, designated and manufactured in France, the Caracal tyre offers new performance accessibility, with an even more streamlined design than the Overide tyre.

The design of the Gravel Caracal tire from Huchinson was designed with a close link between the road and the Gravel. We can find the center of the tread, a very slick tread, offering maximum speed. The studs on the side of this strip provide the necessary traction when climbing, as for the lateral studs, they allow an ideal grip in bends and downhill.

Although its design is elitist, this Gravel Caracal tire can be rolled both by performance-seeking competitors, but also during adventure and training, thanks to its reinforced carcass. Huchinson's Caracal tyre was developed to ride on the roads, on hard, compact and rocky tracks, in dry conditions.

Hutchinson has equipped this Gravel Caracal tyre with efficient and reliable technologies and robust construction. Indeed, the construction of 3x127 TPI Overlap, with the Hardskin reinforcement of the bead wire rod, provides effective protection against tearing and punctures, and optimum durability of the Caracal tyre.

Hutchinson bi-compound rubber provides comfort and driving safety in the rocky parts. The lateral part of the tyre has a soft and flexible rubber providing grip and tyre deformation, while the central rubber is harder, ensuring an ideal efficiency.

The Tubeless Ready construction allows for additional protection, increased performance and exemplary comfort. You can find the Tubeless Hutchinson mounting kit and a Tubeless pump to mount. Hutchinson is advised to use 40 ml of preventive liquid by tyres. The pressure of the Caracal range will be different depending on the Hardskin version and the Race version, as this is not the same construction.
