Zipp’s 101 XPLR is the company’s first purpose-built rim for gravel. Based on MOTO Technology, this wheelset is designed to provide more control and durability over harsh terrain while delivering a smooth ride quality that helps reduce fatigue.

The 101 XPLR, short for “explore,” is purpose-built for riders looking for adventure beyond the norm. It is designed to provide a smooth ride over primitive roads, especially when paired with large tubeless tires at lower tire pressures. This rim is ideal for gravel racing, adventure riding, or any long day in the saddle.

The single-wall rim construction, based on Zipp’s MOTO Technology, provides excellent compliance and vibration damping. This helps reduce fatigue, allowing you to ride longer and faster. Quarq’s TyreWiz is also available as an add-on option for the 101 XPLR to help dial in tire pressure for an even more compliant ride.
