Zipp’s 454 NSW Tubeless Disc-brake is designed as an ultimate road racing wheelset, delivering aerodynamic efficiency and stability in all wind conditions. Its wider rim is designed for tubeless tires at lower pressure to reduce rolling resistance and damp vibration, helping minimize energy loss on the road. A 28mm tire is recommended for the best combination of aerodynamic and rolling resistance gains. The undulating 58mm Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils provides Zipp’s most aerodynamic and stable wheel design.

The 454 NSW features Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE), which addresses wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. Its hookless straight-side rims provide a more seamless transition between the tire and rim while allowing more efficient resin distribution for lighter, stronger wheels. The wheelset features the premium ZR1 SL hubset with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement, and the hubset is 30g lighter than the predecessor hub used in NSW wheels.
