Zipp’s 808 Firecrest Tubeless Disc Wheelset is designed to achieve speed through its 80mm-deep rim profile and Total System Efficiency™ (TSE™) technology. The wheelset features a hookless, tubeless rim profile with a 23mm internal width, making it suitable for wider tires at lower pressures to help reduce rolling resistance and increase cornering grip. TSE™ addresses four primary barriers to speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses.

The Firecrest rim shape provides aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability, while ABLC Sawtooth™ Technology uses a complex dimpling pattern to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The German-engineered ZR1 DB Hubset provides quick engagement with robust durability, featuring 66 points of engagement. The wheelset also includes Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes, a Center Lock rotor interface, and a choice of XDR™ or SRAM/Shimano driver bodies.
