Zipp’s 808 Firecrest® Tubeless Disc Wheelset is designed around Total System Efficiency™ (TSE™) to achieve speed through improvements in wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. With an 80mm-deep hookless, tubeless rim profile and 23mm internal width, it is designed for wider tires at lower pressures to reduce rolling resistance and provide greater cornering grip. The Firecrest rim shape provides aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability, while ABLC Sawtooth™ technology uses a complex dimpling pattern to help manage airflow around the rim.

The wheelset features a German-engineered ZR1 DB Hubset with quick engagement and robust durability, along with Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes. It uses a Center Lock rotor interface with the lockring included and is available with XDR or SRAM/Shimano driver bodies. The wheelset ships with 12mm front and rear end caps and includes a lifetime warranty.
