Zipp’s 808 Firecrest® Tubeless Disc Wheelset is designed around Total System Efficiency™ (TSE™) technology and an 80mm-deep rim profile. The wheelset features a hookless, tubeless rim profile with a 23mm internal width, making it suitable for wider tires at lower tire pressures. TSE™ addresses Wind Resistance, Gravity, Rolling Resistance, and Vibration Losses. The Firecrest rim shape provides aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability, while ABLC™ Sawtooth™ Technology uses a complex dimpling pattern to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

The wheelset features a German-engineered ZR1 DB Hubset with quick engagement, robust durability, and 66 points of engagement. It uses Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes and a Center Lock rotor interface. The 808 Firecrest is available with XDR™ or SRAM/Shimano driver bodies, with the Campagnolo driver body sold separately.
