The Zipp Super-9 Tubeless Disc-Brake Disc is designed with a wider, refined shape for modern triathlon and time trial bikes. Its profile runs wide and parallel from the hub before gradually narrowing toward the hookless tire bed. Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE) carbon laminate and design are engineered for wider tires and lower tire pressures, helping address wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses.

The Super-9 combines Zipp’s wheel laminate, wider rim profile, and optimized tire interface with a hookless design. It is designed to work with Zipp’s current tubeless front wheels and is fastest with 28mm tubeless tires at lower-than-traditional pressures. The disc features a ZR1 SL hub with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement, along with an integrated TyreWiz 2.0 tire-pressure monitor and redesigned pump-access port for easier inflation.
